The MWS Team

With extensive finance and office administration experience, Kelly is no stranger to quality assurance and stringent customer satisfaction aspects of our sign making business. She also has a keen eye for design and a knack for exemplary finish work.

With a background in communications, internet, and app development Jason is right at home running the technical aspects of our new CNC milling operation. His experience in graphic design is also a huge benefit.

The inspiration for what eventually turned into Maine Wood Signs came after Kelly and I attended a “Jack and Jill” party and received our first sign. It was a hand made, hand painted sign that had three magical words on it, “Happily Ever After”. That sign has such special meaning, and has since been prominently displayed in our kitchen. After that, we sort of became sign junkies and found ourselves wanting to line the rooms with as many as we could get our hands on. What we didn’t expect, was to find that there simply weren’t as many available or that seemed to fit our style or tastes. Confession – we settled for whatever we could get our hands on. Fast forward to now, we discovered that with an investment in technology and a commitment to creating quality products, coupled with some wit and charm, and a lot of trial and error, we could do better, a lot better!
